Families with babies & toddlers: join us for an opportunity to build your village, bring kids together and find support among other families in a safe outdoor environment. As parents and caregivers, we've often wished that kid programming allowed more time and space for adult bonding, conversation and connection. GROW Outdoor Adventures has blossomed from that need and desire!
Families with children ages 1.5-5: Join us to build your village, bring kids together and find support among other families in a fun, relaxed environment. As parents and caregivers, we've often wished that kid programming allowed more time and space for adult bonding, conversation and connection. GROW Adventures has blossomed from that need and desire!
May-October:
We will meet at the entrance to
Red Rocks park in South Burlington and hike together at an adult led pace (please bring carriers or strollers for kiddos, our path is stroller friendly) and then gather at our special base camp for our morning programming. We will circle up to sing songs and learn breathing and mindfulness techniques to help kids and grownups alike find calm. Then we will each settle in for a snack brought from home and while we’re snacking everyone will have an opportunity to share and get support about what’s happening at home. After our circle time we will have a chance for the kiddos to explore the woods and natural surroundings while adults practice silently observing and mindfulness techniques. We will close with a song and then we will hike back together. If the weather is calling for rain we will send an email that morning and hold class inside our studio at 696 Pine Street, Burlington.
November-April:
In colder month's we'll transition inside our 696 Pine Street studio for a cozy indoor play experience. We will follow a rhythm of simple circle songs and movement games and fun exploration time for kiddos with new development building activities every week.
