We are planning for this weekend birth class to be offered in person at our Essex Wellness Center (37 Lincoln Street) unless local COVID-19 cases increase at a rate that we are instructed to switch to online. Families will be distanced at 6 feet apart in comfortable seating in a large room and masks will be recommended. Looking for an online option? Check out our schedule, we offer online classes monthly.
Our birth classes have all of the components of a traditional class for hospital birth, with a strong added focus on movement, breath and mindfulness. We believe that understanding how to connect to our body, breath and mind in labor, as well as understanding the birth process and potential medical interventions, sets laboring couples up with the tools needed to make informed decisions when necessary and to open to the mystery of birth with confidence.
Class Times:
Friday Night 6-8:45 pm
Saturday: 9 am--12:15 pm and 1-4 pm (times may vary depending on the teacher)
