The transition home with an infant who may have special health needs and parents who are starting to process the trauma and stress of the NICU can, in some ways, be a more difficult time.
GROW's NICU peer support is a facilitated one-on-one time to chat with one of our GROW staff members who has had their child in the NICU and understands your experience.
Anyone can join this group, whether you have a baby currently in the NICU or your child is older. Many find this "check-in" helpful for moments in life that may trigger difficult memories of your NICU experience, such as birthdays or discharge anniversaries.
